Yasaman Sheri is an Iranian-Canadian Designer and Researcher who works with new technologies to explore possible and becoming futures. Her research focuses on synthetic sensing and the augmentation of body, objects and ecological environment, how they are represented and they way we embed perception and interaction in them.
Yasaman is Faculty at Copenhagen Institute for Interaction Design, Core Interaction Design Lead on the first consumer level Augmented Reality Operating System Head-Mounted Display: Microsoft Hololens' Windows Holographic and has lead design programs such as graduate studies program at NASA Ames while working with Autodesk, Google and IDEO. She has won numerous design awards, speaks publicly at TED, European Commission, United Nations and is frequently a guest critic at design and research institutions such as Art Center College, Stanford and University of Washington.
